What the store collects, who holds it, and how to ask about it.
Who holds what
This store belongs to Balencia. Balencia's studio is at 8010 E McDowell Rd, Suite 209, Scottsdale, AZ 85257. The shop, cart, checkout, accounts, check-ins and chat assistant are run on its behalf by Platform Health, which holds what they collect. Platform Health is the merchant of record: it sells you what you buy in the shop, and Stripe processes the payment.
A prescription product is different
When you choose to start an online visit, you leave this store for the online visit of an independent licensed clinical provider. The online visit, the health questionnaire, your patient record, the prescription and its checkout all happen there, and are collected by that provider's service. Its own privacy policy, not this page, governs the health information you give it.
What we collect
Your cart and the products in it. At checkout, your name, email, shipping address and what you ordered; you pay on a page run by Stripe, and your card details go to Stripe, never to us. If you make an account, your name, email and a password stored only as a one-way hash, with your order history, saved addresses and subscriptions. If you answer an optional check-in on a product page, your answers, which Balencia's staff can see. If you use the chat assistant, what you type, which is sent to an AI service to write the reply. You can shop without an account.
Cookies and measurement
The store uses cookies to keep your cart, keep you signed in and remember your cookie choice. Page-speed measurement and analytics run only if you choose Accept all; Essential only keeps both off.
Who we share it with
With Balencia, with the supplier that ships your order, with Stripe, and with shipping carriers, as needed to fulfil what you ordered. We do not sell personal information, and we do not put health-related details into analytics events or web addresses.
We email you about an order you place. After a first order you may also get a short series of follow-up emails about your order and your account. If you make an account you choose whether to get marketing email; it is off unless you turn it on.
How long we keep it, and asking about it
Order records are kept for as long as tax and legal rules require; everything else until you ask us to delete it or delete your account, which you can do from your account page. Write to privacy@joinplatformhealth.com and we will tell you what is held, correct it, and delete it if you ask, except where the law requires us to keep an order record. If you are in California or anywhere with comparable rights, you have the right to know, correct and delete what is collected about you, and we will not treat you differently for using them.
